HOW DOES INFRARED HEATING WORK?

Traditional heating systems use vast amounts of money to heat the air in a room, just to allow this warm air to rise and gather at the ceiling. We offer you Infrared heating solutions that are up to 50% more energy efficient than most commonly used heating systems. They lock the heat in the objects, slowly releasing pleasant warmth in to the air. Infrared heaters work in a similar way to which the sun heats the earth. Invisible heat rays travel through the air bouncing off the surfaces of objects and that is how everything around us absorbs the heat.
Unlike traditional heating, Infrared heating does not dry the air. It also prevents heat loss through ventilation, as unlike in the case of traditional heating - there is no hot air that travels around and escapes through opened doors or windows.
Infrared heating products are clean, health beneficial and a very energy efficient way of heating. There is no other more instant, economical, healthier and environmentally friendly way of heating.

You will be less likely to have headaches in rooms with infrared heating as oxygen levels remain high and the air does not become "heavy“ and dry.
Also, you will not suffer any irritations to your skin or mucous membranes. Infrared heating systems run very cleanly, creating no dust, emissions, smells or noise and requiring no maintenance.

You will need to cover about 60-70% of your area with infrared heating membrane. Start saving today!

Infrared heating benefits

  • Converts 100% of the electric energy used into heat

  • The heat is generated where it is needed and there are no heat losses through the pipe work as in convection systems

  • Heat is absorbed and stored longer in walls, floors & furniture

  • No need a boiler, pipe work or fuel storage facilities

  • No maintenance or Servicing Costs

  • No filters to clean or replace

  • Effectively reducing Your Annual Heating Costs

  • Control of Temperature & Energy Use

  • Can improve the blood circulation and elasticity of the skin

How to install infrared heating membrane.

Its easy to install- simply rolls out the membrane and connects. For the installation you will need: Foiled underlay 3-5 mm, connectors and bitumen isolation, cable, plastic membrane, thermostat. To connect a cable to the membrane just use clips or solder it to the copper strip. See images below.

There is 2 ways to connect infrared membrane. We are recommend to install the thermostate, its helps you to save energy.

Health benefits

Unlike convection heating, Infrared heating has clear health benefits for the human body. While convectional heaters produce the heat that warms up the air and surfaces, Infrared heaters heat objects and people directly. It creates a movement of the heat in the body through optimum blood circulation and this way produces a sense of deep warmth.

Furthermore, Infrared heating is beneficial for people with health conditions such as asthma or bronchial ailments. Its unique heating method does not create air currents that increase dust circulation in the room. It also prevents unwanted humidity that causes mould to grow.

Fresh air is also essential for a healthy living environment. However ventilation comes at the price, as it creates heat loss, especially if it is combined with convectional heating system. Opposite to traditional heaters, Infrared heating products heat the objects and people, while convectional heating works on much higher temperatures and relay on the hot air movement. It means that the heat loss becomes greater, as hot air travels out through the vents and opened windows. Meanwhile, Infrared heating does not create air currents and in this way significantly reduces heat loss.

Imagine dust free, non-humid home or work space. Infrared heating solutions can help you achieve your perfect, health-benefiting environment.

How its works

Infrared heating products operate in the far infrared spectrum producing sun like heat tuned between 9-14 micron meters. This specific narrow range ensures safe and healthy heating.
The electromagnetic waves cause molecules to oscillate and release energy within the heated environment. This phenomenon causes us to feel warm.
Traditional heating systems use vast amounts of money to heat the air in a room, just to allow this warm air to rise and gather at the ceiling. We offer you Infrared heating solutions that are up to 50% more energy efficient than most commonly used heating systems.

What is it?

Have you ever touched a surface warmed by the sun on an early spring day and felt a pleasant warmth, even when a thermometer indicates cold? The principal behind Infrared heating lies in understanding how the sun rays work. They are a mixture of electromagnetic waves ranging from infrared (IR) to ultraviolet rays (UV) which travel through the atmosphere without the need of air or any other medium to carry them. When sunrays reach the object, they heat it from the inside leaving it warm without heating the air around it. Infrared rays are just under the visible light range in the electromagnetic spectrum.

Infrared heating works by directly heating walls, floors, things located in a room and a human body, instead of heating the air. Then heated objects release their heat into the environment. Infrared heating creates the surroundings where the floor is warmer than the ceiling. Such method of heating is more pleasant to a human body than the convectional heating that heats the air and relies on air currents to spread the heat in the room.In comparison with the conventional heating, the Infrared heating minimizes the difference between floor and ceiling temperatures. It may significantly reduce heating costs, as it heats square meters instead of heating cubic meters. The Infrared heating acts directly and that means it does not require any contact such as air currents to carry the heat. Therefore, the temperature in the room may be easily maintained and restored if needed. The heat is accumulated by the structure of a building and things in the room and then slowly released in to the air.Infrared heating is a great way of heating domestic, industrial, commercial or any other environments, as it does not create air currents that raise dust particles in the heating area. And that is one of many advantages of Infrared heating.
